Marie Dressler House

The history of the Marie Dressler House is here.  It is now the home of the Interactive Canadian Women in Film Museum.

Dressler House is located at:
212 King street West (Hwy 2),
Cobourg, Ontario, Canada.


The Marie Dressler Museum has been expanded and is now called "Canadian Women in Film Museum".

On August 30, Rick Miller, Chair of the Marie Dressler Foundation was interviewed on Northumberland FM 98.7, a local Radio station.  The show was called "In Your Own Backyard" and Rick talked for about 50 minutes on a range of subjects including the early life of Marie Dressler, the Museum being rebuilt in Marie Dressler House, the Vintage Film Festival, an upcoming (2017) documentary Film Festival, the Bursaries being provided for local students and more.  You can listen to the interview below.
